Sharia and Islamic Studies Department is one of the academic departments within the college of law (CL) at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). It works in accordance with certain working plans and programs and therefore it contributes to the overall message of the UAEU as well as CL.
To prepare graduates that are qualified in the area of sharia knowledge, applications and academic research.
The College of Law has two computer labs and two educational court rooms (Moot Courts), which are fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology and video conferencing facilities.

Those services and consultations cover many areas related to the Ministries of Energy, Justice, Foreign Affairs, and Court Departments. The faculty members also participate in academic partnerships with several institutes within the UAE; providing legal and academic consultancies.
