Legal Clinic

Overview

The College of Law at UAEU has established a legal clinic/ learning center to provide legal solutions to the local community. This educational center implements the legal clinic approaches utilized by many law colleges around the world as a means for student learning as well as serving the legal needs of the local community.

The various services provided by the clinic include the provision of legal advice by students to clients. The law students are assisted in reviewing and drafting their advice by faculty members. The legal clinic also trains students in how to prepare drafted notes, legal papers and contracts or agreements regarding friendly settlements or legal problems. This all prepares future graduates to be leaders in their field.

Legal Clinic Lectures

Consistent with the role of the UAEU and its goals in serving the community, and as part of the initiatives undertaken by the College of Law at the UAEU to enrich the legal culture and dissemination among members of society, the Legal Clinic at the College of Law organizes lectures series in the field of law targeting the members of the community. In this respect, the Legal Clinic organized several lectures targeting school students concerning issues that serves their interests.
